TIPS
installing 5g locking system
Be sure to align the planks perfectly so the joints are not noticeable.
Jiggle the planks to ensure they click into place and sit flush on the floor.
how to prevent gaps
If the joints don’t close tightly and sit flush, using a piece of the same plank as a tapping block will help fully lock them together.
Using a small hardwood block (2” x 12” x 1” thick or similar) and a carpenter's hammer could also work.
How to dismantle planks
Carefully lift and release the entire row. If there are multiple planks, keep the locking system level while lifting to avoid damaging the joints.
Never fold up a plank, as this damages the profile.
Disassemble the planks by sliding the short ends horizontally onto the locking system (black strip), keeping them straight to avoid damaging the plank ends.
